The Canteen Committee is one of the sub-committee of the institution. Any alterations to policy and procedures must be proposed through the Committee and be approved by the Principal.

1. To assist the Principal in the operation and maintenance of the canteen.
2. To be responsible for all catering policy matters.
3. To review prices and charges when necessary and to approve selling prices of new items introduced to the canteen.
4. To assist the Canteen Manager in developing a good choice of menu
5. To maintain canteen equipment in good order and to add items of equipment deemed necessary. Repairs and maintenance should normally be paid for out of the canteen funds,
6. To provide for any education/training needs required by the Canteen Manager from time to time.
7. To produce a set of guidelines for food handling, preparing and storage as well as guidelines for service and transaction procedures.
8. To promote the use of the canteen and promote new products.
