The department of civil engineering was established in the year 2007-2008. The department offers an undergraduate programme leading to B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering of JNTU and it also offers four post graduation programs in structural engineering, environmental engineering, transportation engineering and geotechnical engineering.
The department consists of required faculty members with rich experience, dedicated professionalism and with the skills of higher learning and knowledge have been maintainingexcellent standards in teaching apart from maintaining discipline among the students. The department maintains a close liaision and rapport with research laboratories, government bodies construction industries and consultancy organizations etc, this is likely to enhance the potential of the faculty which in turn help them to train students with regard to various skills as pre current needs of the industry.
The department is well equipped with state-of-art laboratories and infrastructural facilities. Students can avail these facilities in order to impart their academic pursuits. The department consists of the following laboratories

The Department has young and dedicated faculty members with a very good retention period. Most of the faculty members are M.
